About the Journal
The Journal of Chitwan Medical College (JCMC) is an open access, peer-reviewed, quarterly published, multidisciplinary biomedical journal devoted to health sciences. JCMC is an official publication of the Chitwan Medical College (CMC), Bharatpur, Nepal. The JCMC started in 2010 as a yearly publication. From January 2014 as quarterly and from 2025 Jan-Feb issues as a bimonthly publication.
JCMC abides by:
1. International Committee of Medical Journal Editors for Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals
2. World Association of Medical Editors for best editorial practice
3. Council of Science Editors for best editorial practice
4. Committee on Publication Ethics for practicing good publication ethics
The submissions must be via the JCMC online system. It should include the four mandatory files: 1. Manuscript, e.g., Original article as per the Original article template2026; 2. Authorship as per the Authorship declaration form JCMC 2026, and during online submission, must enter complete metadata, i.e., detailed information for all the authors' names/surnames, emails, ORCID, affiliation; 3. Ethical approval letter; 4. Blinded manuscript.
