The JCMC editorial team thanks all the authors for your submissions, which means a lot to us and we take great care and consideration in reviewing each one. As it happens, we have quite a few in the queue but when the time comes to assess yours, we promise to give it the attention it deserves. You will receive an automated email after successful submission. 

N.B.:

  1. The authorship declaration form is the revised form that combines authorship and declaration with additional information (ORCID, email, telephone, designation, affiliation for all listed authors; authorship/accountability, etc.) necessary for publication. Please use this form during submission.
  2. The revised author guideline is available for download.
  3. The revised templates for manuscript preparation will be available soon.  
  4. Incomplete submission (required document not submitted), and authors/co-author(s) metadata/detail not entered into the system during submission will delay the processing publication and may be put on hold.

For the complete submission, the following documents are required (please refer to updated Author guidelines JCMC revised Oct 2024 available on journal home page for download);

  6. Case report consent form

Complete submission as per the journal guidelines, JCMC will start the review in sequence and may provide feedback on the online system. Please keep checking on your submission status at JCMC.

Time to first decision overall (average) within 7-14 days for initial decision (without review); 60 days (with the review). Most of the submission is accepted and or published within three months, but sometimes it may take longer depending upon the queue. 

We are committed to publishing your work in a timely manner and will try to provide our decision as soon as possible. Please be assured that we are working as hard as we can with the resources we have.

We do not reply to emails requesting a status update for submissions less than two months. You may check the status update in the submission area. Before you contact us to request an update, please check your spam folder to ensure that a JCMC has not already contacted you.
